anansi133I couldn't wait for the 9th episode to air, so I started reading the books, and caught up to the battle of Blackwater just before the show. And now I am *so* glad I got to read the book version of the Mother of Dragon's story before I saw the TV version. It would have cost way too much to have done that scene justice, especially after blowing their wad for the big battle sequence. But the TV version made no sense at all!
Now I'm well into the third book, and by the time the 3rd season airs I'll probably be a fanboy snob who begrudges every compromise they take with the story line. I still read every line in the voice of the actor playing that character though.
